Allow us to introduce an exceptional place, the cottage under the beech on the Muránska Plain.

It is a unique, completely renovated accommodation set in the wild scenery of the Muránska Plain, making it an ideal spot to recharge your energy in the highest comfort. The overall atmosphere is enhanced not only by stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the natural swimming pond, but also by the cottage’s location in a one hectare blueberry garden that offers fresh blueberries to visitors during the harvest season. Your relaxation is further enriched by the immediate proximity of the landscape park with sports facilities for active recreation.

The cottage under the beech offers several dining options at a nearby resort, including breakfast, half board or full board, as well as choices from an a la carte menu or a selection of seasonal grilled dishes.

For those who prefer to spend their stay moving only between the pond and the summer kitchen and rely on their own cooking skills, there are two indoor kitchens with full equipment and an outdoor summer kitchen or an open fire pit that will satisfy even the most demanding cook as well as lovers of open fire cooking.

The countless activities enriched by the presence of the National Park Muránska Planina make this stay unforgettable even for highly active and sports oriented guests. Hiking, mushroom picking, cycling, horseback riding for advanced riders, rafting, climbing, quad biking, caving and exploring cultural landmarks such as the hunting lodge of Ferdinand Coburg and the Muráň Castle ensure that no one remains idle.

The cottage under the beech offers a total accommodation capacity of 19 fixed beds plus 2 extra beds in comfortably furnished rooms with private bathrooms. There are also two common rooms with a fireplace, a summer kitchen with a data projector, a sunny terrace, a fire pit and a natural swimming pond.

We would like to inform our valued guests that the cottage is not intended for celebrations, weddings, christenings, bachelor or bachelorette parties or lively events, as it is located in close proximity to the psychiatric treatment institute at Predná Hora.
