Blueberries

The cottage under the beech is located in the middle of blueberry garden, which makes it a perfect place for relaxation.

The story began in 2009 when a nursery for growing ornamental trees and Christmas trees was established on the site of the old gardening area. In the second part, there were also small fields for growing vegetables and later the first attempt to grow blueberries. Since it was too demanding for the grower at that time, the idea was gradually abandoned after two years. In the following years, we managed to replant the entire garden with blueberry seedlings. The garden currently contains 2500 plants over an area of more than one hectare. The varietal diversity is ensured by several types of the highbush blueberry Vaccinium corymbosum, varieties Spartan, Bluecrop and Chandler. The altitude of 850 meters above sea level, south facing orientation, sloping terrain with warm southern airflow and suitable soil pH give the fruits an exceptional flavor.

For accommodated guests as well as visitors of the blueberry garden, we offer a guided tour with tasting.

Tasting takes place directly during the explanation.
Groups max. 4 people, for larger groups it is necessary to arrange a date in advance.
Price 20€.
Without an organized visit, entry to the blueberry garden is prohibited.
