This is an exceptional, completely reconstructed facility, which, due to its location in the wild scenery of the Muránska Planina, is predetermined to gaining new strength and energy at the highest level of comfort. The overall atmosphere is completed not only by amazing views to the surrounding mountains and bio lake, but also by the location of this cottage in the one-hectare blueberry garden, which always offers fresh blueberries for visitors during the season of harvesting. Relaxation restfulness is improved by the close neighbourhood of the landscape park with sports equipment for active relaxation.

Chalupa pod bukom offers various opportunities of catering in a nearby recreational facility in form of breakfast, half or full board, a choice from a la carte menu or seasonal grilled dishes. For those visitors who want to spend their holiday time only nearby the lake or summer kitchen and rely on their culinary abilities, there are two indoor kitchens with complete equipment, an outdoor summer kitchen and a fireplace which will satisfy the most exacting culinarians and lovers of food preparing in the open fire. Countless number of activities enhanced by the presence of the National Park of Muránska planina makes this stay something unforgettable even for highly active and sports-minded people. Hiking, mushroom picking, cycling, for the more demanding ones – horseback riding, rafting, rock climbing, quad riding, caving, sightseeing Ferdinand Coburg´s hunting lodge or Muráň Castle will not leave anyone idle.

Chalupa pod bukom has a total accommodation capacity of 17 fixed beds plus 4 extra beds in comfortably furnished rooms containing a bathroom, furthermore two lounges with a fireplace, a summer kitchen with a data projector, a sunny patio, an open-air fire place for barbecuing and a bio lake.
